WHO TMC ARE

Why Masc Representation Still Matters in 2026

There’s a weird contradiction that still exists in queer culture.

Masc lesbians are everywhere — in gyms, in relationships, in creative spaces, online communities, fashion, sport — yet somehow still feel underrepresented at the same time.

A lot of masc people grow up learning how to make themselves smaller.

Too masculine for some spaces.
Not masculine enough for others.

For years, masc presentation has often been reduced to stereotypes. Either hyper-confident and emotionally unavailable, or turned into a joke online. Rarely shown with softness, vulnerability, style, creativity or depth.

But masc identity has never been one thing.

For some people it’s oversized tees and tattoos.
For others it’s quiet confidence.
For others it’s simply feeling more comfortable existing outside traditional femininity.

That’s why representation still matters.

Not just visibility for the sake of visibility — but honest representation.

The kind where masc people are allowed to:

  • be confident and soft,
  • emotionally open,
  • creative,
  • stylish,
  • anxious,
  • affectionate,
  • awkward,
  • ambitious,
  • or still figuring themselves out.

Because masculinity within queer spaces doesn’t have to mirror masculinity shaped by straight culture.

There’s space for a different version of it.

One that values community over ego.
Confidence without arrogance.
Strength without emotional distance.

And honestly, that’s part of what inspired The Masc Club.

Not just creating clothing.
Creating familiarity.

Something that feels recognisable to people who spent years trying to figure out where they fit.

A brand that understands the experience of buying from the men’s section but never fully relating to the branding attached to it.
A space where masculinity doesn’t need explaining.
Where softness and strength can exist together.

Masc culture deserves more than being treated like a niche side of the LGBTQ+ community.

It deserves visibility that actually feels real.

And maybe that starts with community more than anything else.

TMC was built for mascs who’ve spent years shopping in men’s sections because nothing else felt right.

The problem is, men’s clothing was never designed for our frame. Even when the style matches how we want to present, the fit rarely does. Tees sit wrong, hoodies feel oversized in the wrong places, gym wear doesn’t shape properly, and most brands simply weren’t made with us in mind.

TMC exists to change that.

We’re building clothing specifically inspired by masc identity, combining masculine streetwear aesthetics with fits that work better for female bodies. The goal isn’t to make clothing “more feminine.” It’s about creating pieces that let mascs dress how they already want to dress, without constantly compromising on fit, comfort, or confidence.

We’re starting with oversized tees and hoodies… essential everyday pieces designed around the style, comfort, and energy of the community. As the brand grows, so will the range. Performance gym tees, 5” shorts, relaxed outerwear, and more, all developed with the same intention… masculine clothing built with us in mind.

But TMC was never meant to be just clothing.

From the beginning, the vision has always been about building a community for masc presenting people who relate to the same experiences, style, mindset, and identity. A space where people feel understood without needing to explain themselves.

For a long time, a lot of us have adapted to brands that were never really created for us. TMC is about changing that narrative… not only through clothing, but through representation, connection, and visibility.

We want TMC to feel bigger than fashion.

A brand people genuinely identify with.

A community people feel proud to be part of.

A place where mascs can feel confident, represented, and seen.

Because being masc is more than a style.

It’s presence.

It’s energy.

It’s confidence.

It’s identity.

Strong Bodies. Soft Hearts.
